Hi All,

I have a cell containing text and I want to find one of three different words in it. The text is in Cell A1 and in B1, if the cell contains the word "sales", I want B1 content to be S10. If cell A1 text contains the word "Expenses", then I want B1 content to be E10 and if A1 text contains the word "Overhead", I want cell B1 to be O10. Cell A1 will not contain two of the above words at any one time. Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

Regards,

Bill

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
I think you want to post this on the Excel Board, not on the Access Board, as it appears to be an Excel question.

Sorry,

I keep jumping from Excel to Access forums and I did not realise that I was still in the Access forum.
