Hello there,

I'm pretty new with VBA and I am trying to make a Userform to add comments to an excel sheet.
I have a combo box with initials (of the person making the comment) and a text box where they will write the comment.
Now if the person clicks the OK button I want it to start a new line with Initials, the date, and the comment.
For instance:

04-11-2019 - EL: Order has been moved to Friday.
05-11-2019 - SK: Order is done.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

If you want to keep the Forms control (which I would advise), you can use
Code:
    Sheets("Sheet1").Shapes("CommentBox").TextFrame.Characters.Text = Format(Date, "dd-mm-yyyy") & " - " & Me.ComboBox1.Value & ": " & Me.TextBox1.Value

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
