(let say my computer has a drive D)My folder that contains all my reference file are on "d:\shoes\reference\foldername"In my excel file column A row 1 to 500 = shoes brand. In columnb B row 1 to 500 = prizes. In Column C row 1 to 500 are the corresponding prize reference (hyperlink)Let say in column C row 1,5,6,11,15 = i have a quote reference "d:\shoes\reference\adidas.pdf.In row 2, 3,10, 130,150 = the prize reference are on "d:\shoes\reference\nike.pdf.All of these was manually done in my computer and working well, but for sure if i copied this file to another computer and save on their desktop, link will not be worked..and i have to manually do the hyperlink. Is there a excel formula or macro to help me to update the hyperlink. Thanks a lot.

Just curious, how do you expect Excel to reference a file on your local computer, from another computer?

What i mean is that, if i copy the whole folder d:\shoes\ containing my excel file and the folder with prizes on another computer on the same location ( D: drive) it will work but if i copied it to the desktop it will not work as the folder location of the prizes are on ( c:\user\desktop\) but my excel hyperlink are still on d:\shoes\.. and in that reason i need to replace manually my excel hyperlink to replace (d:\shoes\ to c:\user\deskto\shoes) - my question is how to update that automatically..or if you any ideas to avoid breaking the link.
