Undefined Function in Query

I am wanting to take the number of a month and use a funtion that I have in VB to change it to the month name. Problem that I am having is that when I put the function called "getmonthname" in my sql code in micro. query it says the function is undefined. Any suggestions?

Was the function declared as 'Public' or 'Private' or neither taking the default? Try changing it to an explicit 'Public'
