I am tring to get two series of radio buttons (or check boxes) with seperate cell references on the same sheet. Problem is, the second series defaults to the original series cell reference. For example

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 260pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=347><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 116pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 5668" width=155><COL style="WIDTH: 48pt" span=3 width=64><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 116pt; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" height=20 width=155></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" class=xl63 width=64>Colour</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" class=xl63 width=64></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" class=xl63 width=64>Size</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" height=20></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3">Black</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3"></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3">Small</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" height=20></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3">White</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3"></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3">Medium</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" height=20></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3">Red</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3"></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3">Large</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" height=20></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3">Green</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3"></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3">X Large</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" height=20></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3"></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3"></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3"></TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" class=xl63 height=20>Cell reference required</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" class=xl63>A1</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" class=xl63></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; BORDER-LEFT: #e0dfe3; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #e0dfe3; BORDER-RIGHT: #e0dfe3" class=xl63>B1</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Can anyone show me how to get independent cell references for these controls?

I have done that, problem is the cell link for all the option buttons automatically default to the last selected cell link. I will have a look at Group Boxes but I have not used them beofre so maybe another post coming:eeek:

Excel Facts

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Simon,

You need to wrap the option buttons as a group entirely with the Group Box in order to isolate them from the other group and have them all contained in the first group.
