Have an odd problem when using excel in my computer. Everytime I try to update a cell in a spreadsheet that is already connected to another one, I being asked to find the file again and link it for every cell, this means that I need to go one by one selecting the file, rather than doing it automatically. The system is asking me to find the file to link the cell. This has to be done for all of them, thus is time consuming.

Checked in other computers with members of my team and they don’t have this issue. When they want to replace a cell linked to another spreadsheet they can do it ok without a window appearing and asking to link to the other file.

Can you advice?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Are you working in the cloud (sharepoint)? I sometimes have weird issues with file connections. Not yours, at least I am not using hyperlinks like that. Before cloud days things worked fine. Now a lot of things don't.
