I have put together a nice workbook for a client. Sent it to her as an email attachment. But we cannot get macros to run on her computer (both using Excel 365). Get a message like "Macros are disabled" when trying to run a sub.

When she opens the workbook she clicks on the yellow button that asks something like whether to enable or trust content. She says yes.

We went to Trust Center and clicked on Enable VBA macros and clicked on Trust Access to the VBA project model.

Macros still won't run. I am at a loss to get this fixed. It is a significant project! What else should I try?

As a bonus question: I tried to send a one drive link to the workbook to her becuase her email service started to screen out my emails with the attachment, presumably because of the macros. But when she clicked the link she got a message about how Excel for the web cannot run the program. So how do I send a usable link to a workbook to someone so they can download the file to their pc?

Gratefully,
Jim

If she looks at the Workbook, can she see the VBA code in it (make sure it is not being stripped out)?

Also note that her company could have Network Security Settings that can block/restrict all VBA from running.
So she should check with her security team to see if they have any kind of Group Policy settings like that.

Have her save the document somewhere other than email. Right click it and go to 'Properties'. There should be an "unblock" check box. Click that and then OK.

Properties - General tab, if you don't see unblock at the bottom then put the file in a Trusted Folder (trusted location)
