Trying to insert new cells: something went wrong

I've been trying to add new cells by copying empty cells in a schedule and selecting the row which I want my copied cells to sit above and selecting 'insert new cells' which was working for a while until friday, now it's showing this error:

can someone tell me why this has stopped working all of a sudden?
 
Given that you say it's only that one file with the issue, and that the Excel app says it's corrupt, I think it's pretty likely. If you have an earlier version you can revert to (eg in online version history) that might be the easiest fix?

Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.

I just restored it to the version before the issue arose and it fixed it, but I had to re-enter everything that has been put on the schedule manually, which took me over an hour but it's fixed now anyway. Thank you!
