I have no experience with VBA Goto although it seems like this is my only option.

I am trying to use a series of cell addresses to enter a value "RTS" in the cell next to the cell addresses.

I was wondering how I can achieve this.

Thanks in advance

It would be easier for me if you were to just tell me what your trying to do.

And not tell me we need to use Vlookup and cell addresses
And
The data set im using the match the two is in column n

None of this do I need.

I think your thinking in terms of fomula results and not Vba.

Just say what your wanting to do and not tell me how you think we should do it. Please

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Ok sorry

I have a bunch of returned to sender mail which I have been matching against a dataset so I can identify which should be taken off the list

I have been typing the names of these people into the excel spread sheet so I can do this matching. Once they're matched and confirmed to be in the dataset, I want to highlight the names in the master data set

Is this more useful?

So I'm going to search column D starting in row (1)

For the value found in column "M" Row(1)
and if found in column "D" we highlight the cell is that correct?

And next time we search column "D" for the value in column "M" row (2)

And we keep doing this till there are no more values in column "M"

Is this correct?

You were correct though

I want to match the dataset of names i entered in column N with the names in the master data set column D

Those names that match I want to highlight
I want to do this until there are no values left in column N to match
