Hi all.

Is there any way to have a time selector and a date selector in a cell in Excel without using add ins? My company won’t allow add ins to the system.

I’ve got a form where an engineer has to select a date and time for a high powered engine run to commence and for some reason they seem to struggle to enter the data correctly. I’ve done a data validation list for dates but times is an issue as it could be a request for any minute of the day. 00:00, 00:01, 00:02 etc.

I was hoping that if you clicked on the cell it would offer a select the time or date system

Thank you all.

The date time picker is available in 365, but probably only in the 32bit version.
Yes, that is discussed in the microsoft article I link to in post #5. But, the article that I have the image of in post #7 is more recent, but it doesn't discuss what ##-bit version is discussed.

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Thank you. Seems I have the same issue as others - it’s not listed, but thank you for the time and reply.

I had a little time on my hands and I was a little frustrated by the lack of a time picker so I designed one myself. You can download the file by clicking here . There is a Worksheet_SelectionChange macro in the code module for Sheet1 which you can modify to suit your needs. Just click on any cell in column A. Any feedback is welcome. You can copy the userform into any file where you may need it.
