The ribbon has gone

Hi,
Anyhow know how to get the ribbon back in Excel 2019?
I've googled for ages but just been sent up the garden path.
Clicking F1 does nothing, clicking the top row does nothing. Can't click on a ribbon tab as who know what that is... no ellipsis on the top right. Totally brassed off. What idiot made it this hard ?

And it's just *this* workbook, a new one is ok.

Sounds like the Ribbon XML might have been modified in that Workbook. Change the file extension of the Workbook to .zip. Explore the .zip file. There should be a Folder named xl. Open that folder and see if there is a customUI.xml file saved there. If so, delete it. Change the file extension back.

Edit - It may be located in the top level of the .zip file. It's been a while since I've worked with the customUI. Simple Google search should help you.
