Dear all,
Hi, I have a set of numbers in the range of D1:G17. And a master number in cell A1. Now as I change the master number in cell A1, the numbers in the range also change.

1. Now is this possible to find the closest number which is higher than the master number ?
2. The second higher number ? till fifth higher number ?
3. The same way for lower side. The closest number which is lower than the master number.
4. The second lower number ? till fifth lower number.

please guide and help

Thanks & Regards

Still duplicate numbers are keep comming and I have to take a chance by changing the last number. Sometimes it works if I put 2 after 1, but next row if I put 3, it duplicates and if I put 4 it gives proper result...

Thanks for all the trouble you are taking to solve the problem,

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
With my final suggestion you shouldn't need 2, 3, 4 or 5 ....every formula should use 1 so that it picks up the smallest number greater than the last......
