Hi,

trying to trim this to the second delimiter by using a formula

111-11-1
result
111-11

exp2
ddd-dd-1
result
ddd-dd

I need to understand sth:

1. Where do I change the sumif formula to adapt it to diferent scenarios
2. I want the macro to include a copy and paste part so I can turn the formulas into values

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Ok I figured it out how to change the formula

I need to add the copy and paste action to the macro !

In the example I provided:

Range("F2:F" & lre).value = Range("F2:F" & lre).value

will convert the formulas to values.
