For what purposes are you using this Make Table Query for?
Personally, I am not a big fan of Make Table Queries. You are kind of at the mercy of Access, in what it thinks the Data Type of each field is, and you really cannot set the Indexes or Primary Key (at least not with using some VBA).
What I prefer to do is create the shell of a table exactly the way I want it, with all the right data types, indexes, primary keys, etc. Then, use an Append Query to write data to this table. If you need to use this again and again, just use a Delete Query to delete all the data from it before your next run. So you never have to make a new table, you just keep re-using the same one.
