I have column with a mix of numbers, so contain zeros at the beginning but most don't. Some members have 1 or more zeros in front of the integers.

I would like to remove these zeros with a formula but not quite sure how to do this.

Here are some examples of the ID numbers that I have:

0000968483
0001041845
6175981

I used flash fill and it worked to some extent but this data is linked to another sheet which is constantly being updated.

Is there a dynamic formula that would leave the 3rd item alone but strip out those zeros from the top 2 numbers?

Thank you for your help.

Michael

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Never mind, I just found the Value function to do the trick, thank you.

Put this formula in an unused cell...

=--A1

After putting that formula into the cell, make sure the cell is formatted as "General", then copy it down as needed.
