Lately I've been navigating around some complex workbooks. I carry a number in my head and go to another worksheet to compare and then I occasionally notice the numbers have changed!

It's all down to Stock Data Types. They now seem to be refreshing every five minutes on the fives. Does anyone know when this refresh cycle became controllable?

Right click on the cell and select Data Type | Refresh Settings and you can control things in the pane. Like this:

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Hi @DRSteele

When I right click while in a stock cell, I get Data Type | Refresh but not "Refresh Settings". I am up to date with 365, do you know a keyboard shortcut to bring up the "Data Types Refresh Settings" pane. I have never seen that before...

Thanks in advance.

No, I don't know a keyboard shortcut. I can't explain why I see Refresh Settings and you don't. My Excel version is 365 Beta - maybe that is it.

That's about the only thing that would make sense. I even tried TSX thinking that perhaps it was Exchange based.

Thanks for your time.

Well hmmmmm. Here's what I see when I right-click on C7. I am using 365 Beta Version 2106 Build 14029.20000

@DRSteele - I upgraded to the Insider Version of 365 and still do not have that option... Do you use MS Money, I do not.
