small excel big loading and saving time

Hello guys,

I have a problem with my excel file, this is very small 174 KB and not particularly complex in formulas, just a few arrays and simple vlookups or math formulas, but it's sitting on dropbox.
It takes a very long time for taking actions as well as saving. I have deleted all the not used columns and row and hidden them. I have changed the formulas to manual and calculate when saving. it still takes a long time for doing it. What can I do? is sitting on a network the problem?
anyway I can solve it?

This sometimes works.

Create a blank workbook.
Copy the sheets across into the new workbook.
Save the new workbook.
See if loading that one is quicker.

Other things to watch out for:

Remove any entire column references, e.g. if you have 1000 rows it is better to say A1:A1000 than A:A

It didn't really work copying in another workbook while there has been a huge improvement changing the formulas from than A:A to A1:A1000.
I didn't know this could make such a big difference!! Super quick now!
