How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
I cannot explain the cause of your problem.
However, I found that I could not download any of the files myself - I was using Internet Explorer 9.
So I tried downloading using Firefox and everything worked fine.
I have come across problems before where some sites do not work very well with IE9.
You could try using Firefox (or perhaps Google Crome).

I think Mike Girvin can help.I tried firefox ....it does not open .The ebook needs these workbooks to making learning effective..

That's strange! Firefox works for me.
What operating system are you using?
What is the filename extension that the file is saved with? What happens when you try to open the file? (e.g. error message)

I am using Windows 7 Ulitmate 64-bit and Office 2010 but it should work the same on your system.
Try right mouse-clicking the zip file and selecting "Extract All".

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
- <Types xmlns="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/package/2006/content-types">
<Default Extension="bin" ContentType="application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.printerSettings" />

Same results after "extract all"
