I have a simple spread sheet. I have a value in A3 that equals 6, the valee of cell A1 equals 2, i want cell A2 to figure what it needs to add to equal the set value in A3 of 6 by adding or not whatever is needed to equal the constant A3? I'm sure this is a simple one but please help........ Thanks

easiest way would be just format the cells to WINGDINGS 2, then a capital letter P will show as a Tick mark.

if you want a formula to do it for you what determines whether its a pass or a fail. if you do it manually then just typing is probably the best way
