Do you know how can i link a excel file from sharepoint to access database? I know that the connection is possible with a list from sharepoint, but it is possible to link also with a excel file from a sharepoint? Thank you in advace!!

First Google hit when querying this specific message and it seems related directly to the issue of linking to files on SP. See how this works for you and let me know if it's still not going.

Need to create a linked table to an Excel spreadsheet that has an internet address. I receive the error 'Only XML files can be imported from an internet address.'
