School Project Topic Help...

Hi,

I am responsible for creating a simple Decision Support System in Excel for my class project. I am a complete newbie to DSS's. The class project is supposed to be related to my work (Pepsi Bottling Group). I was just wondering if anybody might be able to help me come up with some proposals for an excel based DSS system. Info such as what decisions the system would aid with, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The guru in this area is S. Christian Albright. He has written a couple of books on DSS for Excel. Sample models include Employee Scheduling; Product Mix Analysis; Production Scheduling. There are heaps of others.

Does that get you started?
