Hi All,

I need to create a register to track the cost of concrete. There is a range of concrete mixes with varying costs.
I want to have a drop down list so you can select the Mix which will then automatically return the cost per m3
I have set up a DATA ENTRY TAB which lists the ranges of mixes and rates. I then have a separate tab which contains the drop down lists and autofill of rates.
I used a ISNUMBER/MATCH array but that seemed to only work for the first 4 rows

Please help if possible

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
You said this:
I have set up a DATA ENTRY TAB which lists the ranges of mixes and rate
So I assume you mean the sheet name is "
DATA ENTRY
"

In what column on this sheet is the mixes and what column is the rate?
And I assume each list starts on row(2)

Tell me Column A Or B Do not say column mixes and rate.

You said:
I then have a separate tab which contains the drop down lists

What is the name of this second Tab and in what column is the drop down list.

You said:
which will then automatically return the cost per m3

Return the value where?
Do you want the answer returned in a Popup Msgbox?

See we always need specific details to help you.
