Resource booking template

Hi,

I'm looking to have 1 sheet that has a list of resources that can be booked.
On that sheet if you choose a date and time it shows which resources are free on that date and which are not.

If you then want to book one of them, you enter say a "Y" and it then pulls through to a calendar style sheet that enters your booking by the date and item.
So 2 sheets in all.

Does anyone have any templates that might come close to being able to do that.
