Well I'm making a very small program for my dad. Background: dad owns garden centre, instead of the person on the till scanning the barcode on the bags they can look in a little book - Ive got to create that book.
The majority of things in there are only the really big compost and some items without barcodes - about 100 in total (all in the same table atm). im gonna use the report feature to produce the list.
[q1]Theres an extra column which (category) determines what type of product they are, eg compost, woodware etc. That field isnt shown in the report but i was wondering if there was a way of making the report go onto a new page when a new category starts?
[q2] Some products have a picture, and theres a column in the table that provides the full path to the pic e.g t:\tls\brick.jpg how do i add this to the report, so that it shows the picture, I also want the picture to be resized to a size specified by me. This size will always be the same (about 100 by 100 pixels)
I have downloaded a barcode font (they barcode is EAN-13) i donwloaded an supposed EAN-13 barcode font but it doesnt look right, does anyone know where I can get the Barcode font: EAN-13? (there are about 50 different barcode fonts, EAN-13 is what i need, its sometimes called EAN-14 tho)

You could group by 'Category' and then set property to keep group together, usually makes a new page. Make a header and footer for the group.
