I have a table of information which I would like to populate a predetermined script.

For example:
A1: Apple
A2: 2

I would like the macro to say in the Active Cell: "I purchased (A2) (A1)."

Is this possilbe or do I need more clarification of my request?

Something like that where A1 is the number and B2 is the thing that you bought?

Don't know 'bout a macro. Can you use this formula?:

Revised formula in cell C1 to account for zero or blank in "number purchased" column.

=IF(OR(B1=0,B1=""),"I haven't purchased any "&A1&"s","I have purchased "&B1&" "&A1&IF(B1>1,"s",""))
