Repeat values description in column header of pivot table

I am trying to set up a power pivot to repeat the name of the value fields in each column.
The table is in tabular form, repeat all item labels is ticked - but it only works for the column and row labels, NOT for the values description. (I.e. "Inventory Value" in the attached example)
Also, value field settings does not have Layout & Print tab for Values - where the Repeat item lablels could also be selected (it has "Show values as" instead)

I am stuck, because I was hoping to look up values in a simple way from the table further down the model.
