I can't seem to delete my messages. Am I missing something? Dave
Also, I was trialing to pm another member and it's not allowed? Have they blocked me or is my msgbox full or what?

I don't know if there is a limit. I have a bunch, and there doesn't seem to be any issue. I do not see a way to delete them myself.

Note that users who only have a few (or no) posts do not have the ability to send messages. So if you are trying to message someone in that situation, that would be the reason why.

Direct messages cannot be deleted, but there’s no need to worry, as there are no limits on the number of messages in your inbox.

The member you are trying to message may not yet have direct messaging privileges (as Joe4 explained above), or disabled receiving direct messages in their privacy settings, or chosen to ignore you. When a member is ignored, they are unable to send direct messages to the member who ignored them.

Thanks Joe4 and smozgur for your replies. PM's are forever I guess. I'm guessing the long time member has disabled their direct messages because surely they wouldn't want to ignore little old me :) Have a nice holiday season. Dave
