Removing bullets from Text in Excel rows?

Hi,

I have imported a text item from Web to excel spreadsheet where the text is organized in rows. However the text also has the bullets which I want to bring to a different column. Is there a way to do it?

Thanks a ton Boller...When I ran the above mentioned Macro, the numeric bullets were separated out perfectly but for bullets in alphabets (a), (b) or numeric signs (i), (ii), a new parenthesis has been added in the original column. Just sending you a sample for your reference.

(9) - Suffix with brackets.. It can be (9) or (a) or (i).. Basically these are sub-bullets
9. - Numeric followed by '.'

99 - Pure numeric. It is a section in the document.
99A - Subpart of previous section. So followed by an alphabet (99A,99B etc.)
99-(9) - Same as above. Sub-part of previous sections.

Is the list you posted showing the structure of the suffixes to be separated comprehensive ?

Will new suffix structures arise in future?

What suffixes have a space immediately following and what suffixes don't have a space? Can some suffixes sometimes have a space and sometimes not?

I can foresee problems developing a macro that can be guaranteed to cover all possible situations.

The code I posted handles some of the possible suffixes.
To handle others, the code needs to be either extended or rewritten.
Use of the Like Operator (which I haven't used in the posted code) would seem to be appropriate for some of the suffix structures.

I don't have the time to develop such a macro. Sorry.

Perhaps someone else can have a crack at it.

Meanwhile the code that you have shared till now works beautifully for the parts you have covered till now and I deeply appreciate the help. Thanks a ton for that as It still solved a big problem for me.

Just want to ask if you can give me broad advise on what parts of the code I should play with to add other aspects and I will try at my end to crack it.
