On my personal computer all Excel 365 files created in last 2 days are now read-only. No one else uses this machine. In Properties the Read-only box is not selected. SaveAs/ More Options/Tools/General Options/ Read-Only is not selected. It wants me to Save-As every time there's a change in the data. Computer updated a few days ago. Anyone know what caused the problem and how to solve it?

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Maybe this answer will help
Also suggest that you right click on file in File Explorer, look at the properties and ensure it isn't protected or read only as if it came from internet or a cd.
