re-scaling data

I have a column of values with the range of 0 to 1000 (scale is between 0 and 1000). How can I re-scale them to become between -0.15 to 0.45?

Thanks in advance
 
This Formula is format of Liner Equation Y=aX+c.

However The above formula is only sample based tested formula. I can not give you a theorem of it.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
