Ranking with Multiple Criteria

Hi,

I am looking for a solution to rank using multiple criteria.

I can provide a sample set if needed but wanted to try without having to do that first.

Column B contains my first identifier. There are multiple different values here.
Column L contains the value I want to rank for each unique value in cell B. I did a COUNTIF on column L and I see the first value I have occurs 6 times. Each time it occurs I want it to place the same rank.

Any help would be much appreciated.
