Ranking for Sports Day

I have created a simple spread to calculate scores for Sports day events - so adding in 1 to 4 depending on 1st, 2nd, 3rd - but then want a running total of which team is in 01st, 2nd, 3rd etc - there are more teams etc but for a visual see table below. Ive done a sum to add the total for each team - HCPS, BPS etc but then want an aside that say 1st place is MPS, 2nd BPS etc etc,

Any ideas.

Will a ranking not do the trick ?
Assuming that the columns in the grid start at A, you can add a line below the total to rank them in positions using something like this :
=RANK(B9,$B$9:$E$9,0)
Where row 9 = Total row
This will show MPS in 1st, BPS in 2nd etc.
