Quick access toolbar icons are not responding

I am using MS Excel 2010 but the quick access toolbar icons do not respond when I click on them (i.e. save, print). That issue does happens sporadically and the only way out of it is by closing Excel and then reopening that document. Thanks in advance for your help

I know this post is a year old, but I'm having the same problem that you had. The quick access toolbar icons do not respond.

Did you ever get this resolved, and if so, how did you fix it?
