I am trying to create a query to count the number of unchecked boxes. Then, how do I set up a parameter query to count the number of checked boxes withing a certain time period. I would appreciate some help. Thanks.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
I assume your checkboxes refer to values placed in a field of a table... i.e.that the checked value =-1 and an unchecked value = 0

If those indeed are the values... then your criteria should be pretty straightforward...

Without any more detailed information about your tables & fields, it's difficult to provide further help...

Say you have 2 fields, [Name] and [Check]. [Name] should be a field without blanks, [Checks] is the checkbox field. Given that True or Yes is -1, you could try this:

New query, based on your table.
Single field expression: =Count([Name]) + Sum([Checks])
