Hi all ,

I need small advice !!. everyday we pull data from Oracle business application which is web based tool and I daily pull reports for our analysis . so now my question is can we pull that date using VBA that interface with the tool and get the dump .

and point to be noted there is certain path I follow

->home-NAvigator-rports- and then enter certain parameters and then executes .

to avoid this lengthy process is there a way I can just click the button and I get the data .?.

Thanks & regards,
Hudson.

Hello,

When it comes to these issues of mainframe downloads ...before building a whole VBA program, you should approach your IT department which has all the adequate tools to create, within minutes, either a clean database and even a final report in the right format ...

Hope this will help

Hello James - thanks for your advice . the tool i mentioned is hosted over web . its a HRM tool to pull and manipulate date . it is not a mainframe. i presume this can be automated using VBA but i am not sure what methods it require to reach my objective .

and more over i am not worried about data cleanse but rather a easy way to pull data .because in day i need to follow same path more than 100 times in day
