Pulling Latest value for each ID via vba

Hi Guys,

Basically I have a fairly large spreadsheet which contains ID's and then values in the adjacent column with dates in the following column.

For each ID I want to take the value corresponding to the latest date, bearing in mind each ID could have a different number of values and therefore dates.

What is the best solution /is there a VBA solution to this?

The solution I posted in post #10 assumed there will be only one latest date per id. In the event that there can be more than one record for an id that duplicates the latest date, additional entries are needed to show the values for each instance of the latest date for that id. The solution below will handle up to 4 records per id with the latest date. More than 4 values can be handled by extending the Value column formula to the right.

Copy J2 to the right, then all formulas down.
