I have a spreadsheet that I am going to lock with only a few selected cells to be able to be edited. ON the same spreadsheet I have macro bottons. However when I protect the sheet, my macros do not work.
FYI fedas18 - I don't know how many sheets you have in your workbook but your first line in that code is to unprotect the sheet you are on and then select the 'Deficit Debt Service' Sheet.
The way that is written you are possibly unprotecting a sheet you do not want unprotected.
I would double check all your sheets to see if anything is unprotected.
I like the link jefferybrown posted. It has some really good security points to it.
At least I would remove the first 'unprotect' line before you select the sheet.
