First of all good morning/afternoon/evening. My name is Sebastian and I work as an analyst.

I'm trying to make a pivot table in PowerPivot using two tables (or even more if I could). The problem is that when I try to match some fields, some values get repeated. It's quite hard to explain it here so I made a video on youtube. I would really appreciate if you took the time to watch it.

P.S.: I'm not an expert using Powerpivot (I've been using it for one month) and excuse me for my terrible English (I know it sucks :S ).

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

Sebastian,
A solution would be to create only one table and include an additional column for the month. You could then do all the slicing and totaling you want.

Sir, I guess that would be the only possible way to do it :(. My main concern is that sometimes I need to link up more than 60 fields to a table and that would mean I would need to type either the RELATED or RELATEDTABLE formula 60 times. That's why I wanted to know if I could make a pivot table so that it could become easier to match the fields to the table. But anyhow I guess that is the best way to do it!

Thanks for answering to my post.
