I have a situation that I run into frequently that I am wondering if a macro in PPT could help make the task easier.
Routinely, I receive PPTs that contain text and a background image. The person I receive them from puts a text box that covers most of the slide. I drag the text box so that the words no longer cover the image. However, this leaves a fair bit of text hanging off of the bottom of the slide. Resizing the text or changing the picture isn't a viable option.
Is it possible to write a macro that would in essence take the text that hangs over and copy it to a new slide that has the same background image? Essentially, duplicating the slide but just with the text that spilled over from the re-sizing.
I've attached two images that are exaggerated examples of what I detailed above.
