Powerpivot distribution by Zone/Area - security options

Hi,
I am new to powerpivots. I have an Excel report with Data Model that I am looking to distribute to different Zone owners. There are 7 Zones, and the source data has all of them.

How do I limit the report that I distribute only to one Zone since I do not want other Zone owners to see other zones. Is there a way to lock the data model to just one zone without implementing any type of security? I have no problem saving 7 separat files, I just do not want to mess with the source data.

I have been googling, but could not find anything. Any ideas would be appreciated - locking the pivots to show only one Zone, filtering/locking data model to one zone.

The only option I see now is splitting the source data, creating multiple templates by Zone and linking them to the Zone specific worksheets.

Thank you!

Lena

Pretty sure no row level security in Power Pivot. Think you may be stuck with 7 different files. Just filter the data when you pull it in with Power Query.
