I have an Excel 2010 powerpivot file that I have been using for a few months now. This file has eight pivot simple pivot tables in a dashboard configuration with about 12 slicers in it. I updated the data connection to point to my final production view and after the data refresh my slicers all disappeared and my pivot tables emptied of all row labels. The values all stayed put, but essentiallty everything else disappeared leaving me with a shell of a file.
I verified that all of the new column and names are identical to old view. I made no changes at all to the pivot data sheet other than to change the tab query, so I am curious as to why my layout disappeared.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
