hi all,in power query, if i import a singulat json file, pqgives me the option to expand some lists and records as usual on relevant fields. no drama. however if i import all files in the foler, the optoion to expand list and records is no longer there so i cant get to the json field i need, why is pq doing this?, how do i change what i am doing to get to the field i need?
thaks in advance to all.

Are you getting this far? where you have list of the files imported?

If yes just right click in the Content header, -> Transform->JSON

You should be able to expand after that

Sorry that would be breaking board rules, but if you could post some example JSON files links with dummy data ( or just sensitive data removed), other board members and I may be better placed to assist you.
How many files are in your folder?
For parsing they structured the same or very differently?- getting any errors on the initial data load into PQ
When Power query opens after you attempt to load the files what shows on the PQ window? - attach a screenshot with personal info removed if you can
