I am trying to create a "Year to Date Totals" spreadsheet, made up of a list of customers and each customers total sales for a particular year, a different folder contains spreadsheets with invoices on tabs and a "Totals" tab that I am trying to extract the amount from.
I have created a (2) column spreadsheet, the LH column contains a list of files created from the different folder using the "=INDEX(MyFiles,ROW()-13) function to get the list of file names, which I have done...now I am trying to populate the RH cell alongside each of those filenames with a totals value from each of those spreadsheets. Each spreadsheet format is the same but with a different file name and data within.
My problem is my RH column needs a file name from the LH column to find the data, if the LH column had the actual file name I can easily link the (2) cells I am after but because the LH column file name is a formula I get an error.
I have tried to insert the cell number in the formula but I get an error...I have been searching this forum for 2 days and I have about come to my wits end...Thank-You in advance for any help I can be given.

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
I am not an expert by any means, but it sounds like what you are trying to do is something that you can do very easily with PowerQuery.
