Please Help Linking access to a database

I have made a database to track Marketing Events. The old way of tracking is users entered information on Excel spreadsheets, which they like to do. Is it possible for those already made spreedsheets to fill the database feilds.

If so, how?

Create an append query using the Excel linked table to add the data contained, to the table that you run the reports from.
