Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on a problem i have.
I have a pivot table with data and want add 2 calculated fields to the data.
My raw data has requirements and receipts and current stock including cost for each material.
I want start by taking the stock of the material and then minus the requirements and add the receipts. Then continue for each month total from previous formula - requirements + receipts.

I then want multiply the balance by the cost to give value on hand / balance each month.

Picture of pivot table below.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
How about just a column of change in stock where increases are + and decreases - ? Then you can show a running total per month of quantity and value.
