Hi All,
We have a multiple spreadsheets where each sheet is limited to who can enter data only, basically each department enter their own data but others can view the data.
I have added another user to 3 spreadsheets but we can't seem to get him working. Every time he tries to add the data the system tells him to add the password.
Initially we thought we had inputted him incorrectly, but all good, the tick to allow users to make changes is ticked as it should be.
He has recently been upgraded to O365 and we had to down grade him from 64bit office to 32bit office, simply because no VBA works with the 64bit, so everyone who is required to use VBA for their job is down graded to the 32bit version, he is now on 32bit.
He has all the same settings as everyone else and all other users for his department can enter data as required, it's just this one person.
We can't work this out.
Any idea's or something you have come across that may guide us in the right direction.
I can't seem to get to the right question & answer from Google.
His user name is inputted correctly as well.

Thanks in advance.
Craig.

Thanks for the reply Jan, some good info there regarding the 32bit and 64bit versions.
See screen grab from the spreadsheet when it is a user not recognised, or in the case of my colleague he is inputted correctly as a user but he is getting this message.

When setting up the range, did you click the Permissions button and add the new user and checked the allow editing without password box:

Make sure you selected the correct user.
