So I have data which I'm recapping in a pivot table and I'm using show values as percent to total. The issue is that I have the data over multiple years and I'd like to compare the same months penetration year over year.

As of now I have the months across the top and I have years on the horizontal axis and I can do percent of total row. In this arrangement I can see the penetrations by month on top of each other year over year. I want to be able to see subtotals by other values (also in the horizontal axis). So I'd have to have years across the top, but I can't get a penetration to total with the common months grouped together. Any ideas?

So I'd like to see:

Feb 2011 pen of 2011, Feb 2012 pen of 2012, Mar 2011 pen of 2011, Mar 2012 pen of 2012, etc.

Thanks in advance. Let me know if you have questions
