Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Mamady. I followed your direction step by step and it works wonderfully. I have managed to paste the data on the same worksheet, change some data and refresh query and it work...

My plan is to link "GDP" values with each country which represent a worksheet.

However, In some workbook, I have over 180 worksheet. If I plan to make a a query for each one, what would happen when it refresher query al at the same time?
I am not sure, I am afraid query may break or my computer may become unresponsive.

What is your views?

Best Regards

Corrie

Thank you For Your Support And Your Passion To Help Others...

Hi Corrie,

There is no straight way to assess your computer capability for MS Excel computing power. I would recommend doing the query for few sheets, let's say 5, change/update the data and refresh and see how much it will take for your computer to process those, then double the number as you go. Once you feel that your computer started to struggle you would know how much it can handle at once.

It depends on whether it is an incremental change, or the whole set of data are changed. Moreover, please note that you can refresh a specific table instead of refresh all. Just select the table and choose Refresh from the ribbon.

Hello Mamady, thanks again for stopping by this time...
I am ashamed to say. eventually I'll have to upgrade my computer.

For that reason alone, I requested to the forum, if I can transfer the data without using power queries.

However, Jkpiterse. Made a good suggestion. If I can use 1 query to transfer the data into 1 worksheet. Each table separately, I can grab the data from there for each worksheet and for each chart.

Please tell me if the suggestions sounds crazy to you. If so, it's okay. I'll understand...

Thanks in advance for both response.

Hi Corrie,

Unfortunately, I am not an expert with power queries, thus can't advise about it.
However, try it out. I wish you luck

Hi Corried,

Can you please post some screen-shots of what you are seeing? Please make sure you include the headers of all columns in the screen-shots. If needed, scroll to the right to catch columns which are not in view.
