parsing a pdf file to create multiple pdfs

does anyone know how I can parse a adobe acrobat pdf file into component pdf files based on the change in the header.

Example:

1 pdf:

pages 1-2 have header that reads John Smith
pages 3-4 have a header that reads Suzie Q

I want pages 1-2 to be a pdf by itself and same with pages 3-4.

The pdfs would have to be saved with a the same name that was used to parse the file.
