Hi,

I have an excel document with a list of projects and need to do notes for each project.
I want to open a worksheet for each project and for the new added projects with a VBA code.
The new worksheet needs be be labeled with the name of the project/s
There also need to be a lay-out on these newly added worksheets
refer to example below.
I have placed the information in the same location as per my original sheet

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
I also want the projects to be hyper link to its relevant worksheet.
So if I click on the name in the main sheet it must take me to the sheet for the relevant project as I have 90+ projects at any given time.

On sheet named: "Progress"
You have sheet names starting in Range("F8")
And you want to create new sheets with these names.
Not sure what you want to do with QN Number

I see it at the top of sheet but do not know where on top of sheet

You said:
I want to open a worksheet for each project
Do you mean create a new sheet or activate a sheet already made?

Yes create a new sheet for each project and when adding new projects to the main sheet ("Progress" Sheet)
The QN number must be in the newly created sheet for relevant project as per the 2nd picture.
I want the lay-out of the new sheets to be as per the 2nd picture
The sheet names must only be the name of the project.

The second image shows the project name and the QN number on the top of the sheet above Row 1

There is no place above Row 1 to enter data

The 2nd image is the lay-out I want to be automatically included on the new created sheets for the projects.
No data required above the Name and QN number.

I asked where on the sheet is the Name and QN number to be entered.
Tell me something like Range ("G1")
You said look at image 2. I cannot tell from looking at image where to enter Name and QN

To make it simple,
1st Requirement:
I have a list of projects in the main (Active) sheet, that I need to make daily notes for.
I want to create sheets for the existing project separately in the same work book and when a new project is added.
I want this to be automated
The label of the new created sheets must be the name of the project

2nd Requirement:
The newly created sheets must include the lay-out and formatting of the 2nd picture attached to original post

3rd Requirement:
I want the projects listed in the main (Active) sheet to be hyper linked to its relevant sheet created as I have 90+ projects

Sorry my Bad,
If possible I want it to be as per the heading in sheet 1, combined.
If not possible the the heading can be removed and the Name of the project in A1 and the QN in B1

I suggest you create a new sheet and name it "Master"

Now every time you double click on the cell value in the Range "E8" Of your sheet named Progress and below a new sheet will be created just like the sheet named "Master"
The name of the sheet will be the value in range "F8" in this example on sheet "Progress"
And the header for that sheet will have the proper values.

Why you decided to start on E8 is a mystery but that is OK

Will this work?
And a Hyperlink can be added so in you click on E8 you will be taken to the proper sheet name
